Writing skills are integral part of communication. Ever so increasing in value due to online various applications now used daily by all parts of society. Good writing skills are a gateway into communicating your message with colleges and customers alike. Creating a need for clarity which can lead to a far larger audience than conventional face-to-face or telephone conversations. We consume data at a speed never seeing before in human history, nevertheless our own limitations (Time, space and understanding) stands in the way of progress. Although, we are exposed to endless opportunities to seek more information, reacting to it meaningfully is a challenge we all face.
Correct grammar, punctuation and spelling are keys in written language. Errors would lead the reader form a negative impression and dismiss the information. Although, the author may have researched his information well, still the impression the reader gets in negative. As a writer, your knowledge of spelling and grammar rules can be good. Nonetheless, you should still double-check your work or, even better, have it proof-read by somebody else. Our brains work faster than our fingers can type and accidental
typographical errors (typos) inevitably creep in.
No one can offer shortcuts that can transform you into an amazing writer overnight, and even the most talented writers had to learn their craft over a period of many years. However, if you want to improve your writing skills, writing on a regular basis will not only diminish your fear of the blank page (or blinking cursor), it will also help you develop a unique style. So, even if nobody reads it, keep writing. Practice makes perfect.
